   After reading Stevenson’s trial story with Walter, a black man who was wrongly convicted for a crime he didn’t admit. One of his points  deeply touched my heart: “We have a choice...deny our own humanity.” We are all broken, we live in a broken society, from what Stevenson saw from the American criminal  system, it is broken, the most powerful and serious place of a country is broken, what are other things that can possibly stay good all the time? I always think about human nature, no one is perfect, we are all broken to some degree. People make mistakes, some are big others are small. But it is the easiest thing for humans to make wrong choices for power, wealth or your own safety prior to others.
